The company has started development of an sgRNA payload for in-situ gene editing on the same Ab-LNP backbone, extending the platform from expression to correction.
Promax Bioscience has initiated development of Ab-LNP_CRISPR, an in-situ gene-editing configuration of its antibody-conjugated lipid nanoparticle platform.
The program reuses the existing conjugation chemistry and manufacturing backbone, replacing the mRNA payload with designed guide RNA. Early work focuses on guide selection, editing efficiency in primary cell populations, and off-target assessment.
The company expects to file platform-level intellectual property covering the CRISPR configuration during 2026–2027.
